As well as 1-1 lessons, I offer a group coaching clinic.
The group coaching clinic is an excellent way of meeting other golfers and building a bond. It is likely to start at various points through the year and is aimed at different ability levels as follows.
Level 1 Running over 8 weeks, the Level 1 program is intended for beginners to the game or those who have a couple of lessons in the past and wish to return to the game. This level is basically an Introduction to Golf.
These sessions cover most of the fundamental areas of the game of golf from driving through to putting. Each week a different area is covered with guided practice drills for participants to practice through the week. Once undertaken, participants can opt to do the program a second time before moving to Level 2. To find out when the next group session starts see image below.
Level 2 Running over 8 weeks, the Level 2 program is for intermediate players who would like to improve their game in a social setting but with guided learning. These sessions will cover the fundamentals of the individuals’ game in each of the golfing areas from driving to putting, with each week having its focus.
Players can come and discuss their individual challenges and get tips and tricks to help them improve. They will also be given drills to take away and practice throughout the week. Once undertaken, participants can opt to do the program a second time before moving to Level 3.
Level 3 This level is about improving your course management. In every other session, participants will play 9 holes in 3 balls with specific targets to meet as part of the game. The targets will include fairways hit, greens in regulation, up and downs and the number of putts. The scores will be handed in at the end of each round and the coach will offer drills for participants to work on at the range or practice areas at the next session.
