Self Coaching part 2 of 4

Here is week 2 of my self-coaching emails
Thank you to those who share your goals; I had some interesting questions; I hope your answers were clear and concise enough for you.
Anyway, on to part 2
First, a lovely little quote to get you thinking.
“When the reality is clear, it brings the goals into sharper focus."
As a quick recap, this self-coaching exercise is a great opportunity to implement change ready for the new year. We will work on this together using the GROW model. This is the most widely used model in coaching, and the questions are taken from my coaching questions template, used with some of my clients.
Today's questions are the R in GROW, which stands for reality, pretty much its, where are you now with your goal you wish to achieve and what is driving the need to achieve it.
It could be that by going for a particular goal, other things may change in your world. Answer the questions below, but remember, if you are honest, and the answers are not as you expected,  the goal can be changed.
A Self-reflection Exercise: Part 2
Make a note of your answers to these questions.
When looking at your chosen goal:
  1. How important is this to you?
  2. Who else will benefit, and in what way?
  3. What will it be like if you achieve your goal?
  4. What will you see/hear/feel?
  5. What action have you taken so far?
  6. What is moving you towards your goal?
  7. What is getting in the way?
The exercise questions help raise your awareness, which encourages you to take responsibility for achieving your goal. The fact that you come up with your own answers will also raise your confidence to achieve your goal.
Take your time; you have a week, return to them periodically, and make changes as necessary. If you have any questions, feel free to reach out. Once again, you do not have to share the answers with me, but I am happy to take a look if you wish.
Best of luck with part 2 of your change journey. You got this.
